I'm Isaac, a rising junior at Northwestern University, studying applied mathematics. My passion for medicine and healthcare equity stems from growing up between France and Côte d’Ivoire, where I witnessed stark disparities in healthcare outcomes. This experience drives my commitment to leveraging technology to address critical healthcare challenges and improve patient lives. At Alpime Health, I aim to leverage my research skills to create innovative solutions to strengthen healthcare systems and deliver better care where it’s needed most.

Co-Founder, Business & Operations Lead

My aspirations have always been to work at the intersection of computer science, social impact, and entrepreneurship. Growing from my past experiences in developing virtual education platforms for early education and advocating for equitable access to quality education, I desired to work at the heart of an imminent problem that required design thinking and technology to be tackled. Considering my grandparents' involvement in equitable access to healthcare as doctors and medical professionals, I was drawn to the idea of working on a project that uplifts emerging countries through health-tech solutions.

Backend Development Lead

I'm Vidhi, the backend development lead at Alpime. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Information Science and Finance from Northeastern University. After working for 3 years, I am now pursuing my Master's Degree from Northwestern University. I am passionate about digitization and healthcare, which makes me relate closely to Alpime's mission of digitizing healthcare in underserved regions. Outside of my work, I like to channel my creativity in innovative cooking.

ML Lead

I’m Kate, the machine learning lead for Alpime Health. After earning an S.B. in Humanities and Engineering from MIT, I spent several years consulting in network engineering before deciding to pivot to healthcare technology by pursuing a Master’s in Machine Learning and Data Science at Northwestern. I joined Alpime to apply my ML expertise to developing healthcare data infrastructure and access solutions, empowering providers and patients to better utilize health information for improved outcomes and streamlined care.

Financial Analyst

I'm Rhys, Alpime’s financial analyst. In my third-year of undergraduate at Northwestern University, I study Philosophy, Computer Science, and French. My passion for Alpime stems from my interest in French language and culture along with entrepreneurship. I am interested in making the world a better place by providing solutions to everyday people’s problems.

Market Research Analyst

I'm Chris, a sophomore majoring in Economics with a minor in Data Science. I am also pursuing the Kellogg MA Certificate and the ISEN Sustainability and Energy Certificate. I'm in charge of gathering various data in the Ivory Coast and other West African Countries. Additionally, I develop training programs for our clients in the Ivory Coast. In my free time, I love to watch movies and play baseball.

Financial Analyst

I'm Jae, Alpime Health's financial analyst. I am a sophomore at Northwestern University studying Economics and International Studies. I grew up in 4 different countries where I witnessed differences in their respective healthcare systems, which drew to me join Alpime. I look forward to contributing to Alpime's mission of utilizing health tech to positively impact West Africa. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and guitar. 

Backend Developer

I'm Kidus, a sophomore at Northwestern University, studying Computer Science as part of a BS/MS program. I am from Ethiopia and enjoy using technology to solve real-world problems with smart, data-driven solutions. I like improving software performance, simplifying processes, and making sure everything runs smoothly. In my free time, I enjoy watching soccer and walking around campus.

ML Developer

I am a senior studying Data Science and Biological Sciences. With an interest in applying machine learning to solve various problems in healthcare, I was drawn to Alpime as it fills an active need in equitable healthcare access using computational methods. Being my first experience in entrepreneurship, I'm excited to be learning new skills as we build our technology. Outside of Alpime, I also enjoy dancing and spending my time cooking for friends.

ML Developer

Hi, my name is Aarya. I’m a freshman at Northwestern studying Computer Engineering and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS). Combining my experience in the healthcare field with my passion for technology, I was drawn to Alpime’s mission of providing equitable healthcare and impactful results to West African countries. Seeing this social inequality first-hand in India, I hope to see Alpime’s influence grow in other regions of the world. As part of the ML team, I work on Alpime Mozart, our custom OCR engine for paper-to-digital conversion.
